Steps Taken in Organization of Red Cross Units
The Red Cross Motor Corps and Staff Assistance Corps are forming after meetings on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Both men and women can join Motor Corps and volunteer 18 hours annually in uniform. An eligibility meeting is set for Friday at 7 30 p.m. at Mrs. Sanford Hodge’s home. Staff assistants must be women with relevant education and will take a seven two hour lesson course led by Mrs. L M York. Clerical volunteers will also contribute 18 hours yearly. After noon classes may be offered at the production room if needed.

Three directors whose terms expired were re-elected at the Stamford Federal Savings and Loan Association annual shareholders meeting in the city council room.
