The Nichols family after three years in Paris France spent Christmas in Stanford with Mrs Nichols parents Mr and Mrs Rh E McNabb and siblings. Margaret ten months old born in Paris tagged Parisian Peanut. Older children Dorothy five and Joel three. They also visit Dallas with Nichols relatives and plan to move to Biloxi Mississippi after Keesler Field duty. Mrs. Mary Ida Johnson 85 a Stonewall County pioneer in Aspermont died Sunday night after three years of ill health. Funeral Tuesday at 1 00 p m at the Church of Christ with ministers Jerome Savage and Bert Mercer officiating. Burial in Aspermont cemetery under Springer Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons four daughters 38 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren, plus a brother and several sisters.

Mrs Lackey Breaks Leg in Fall at Sanitarium
Mrs Marvin Lakey slipped and fell on the tee in front of Stormford Sanitarium Tuesday afternoon after a hospital visit with her son Bob Lackey. She suffered a broken left leg above the ankle and further tests were planned Wednesday to check for additional injuries.
