Neighbors Use Tractors to Help Burned Child Family
Tuxedo farmers rallied last Friday to plow 150 acres for W. E. Brigham, whose two children are in Stamford Sanitarium after severe burns. Ten tractors and four teams operated by C. W. May, Elmo Boff, Edgar Ashburn and others. The following day, neighbors plowed about 100 acres for J. H. Rivers with a mix of tractors and teams listed among volunteers.

Trades Day Crowd In Stamford Draws Three Thousand
A Stamford Trades Day crowd estimated at 3000 from the surrounding area gathered in Stamford for the first monthly event sponsored by the Retail Merchants bureau of the Chamber of Commerce. J C Watson placed attendance at 3000. merchants advertised specials and the Firemen's band played. The next Trades Day is set for March 26 with events every fourth Wednesday. A Connecticut made clock from 1800 still ticks at the home of G C Quinn near Blue Mountain Mississippi.

The Stamford Country Club is admitted to the Oil Belt Golf Association alongside Albany Breckenridge Mineral Wells Cisco Ranger Eastland Thurber and Stamford. The season runs March 2 to October 19 with fourteen matches per club and at least eight players per match. Stamford opens Sunday at Cisco and ends October 19 at home against Thurber.
