Enlistments Open In Stamford TDG Air Force Flight
Enlistments for the Texas Defense Guard Air Force in Stamford are being received at the Chamber of Commerce office. The Stamford flight is limited to 40 enlistments and interested men should call rather than visit. Enlisted personnel serve without pay and receive government uniforms and arms, while officers must provide their own. Formation began after a public meeting of civilian fliers and air-minded citizens at the city auditorium two weeks ago.
