A Webster- Chicago wire recorder donated by the Class of 1943 is now in Stamford high school. Principal T. R. Tinsley said the device will be used in Speech and Reading, foreign language, vocal and band music classes and other teaching activities. Five persons were injured, one critically, in a head-on crash on U S Highway 277 four miles from Stamford in dense fog around 8:50 a.m. Mrs Orbie Lovvorn 19 suffered a severe head injury. The other injured were treated at Stamford Sanitarium.
