The First Baptist Church of Stamford joins with Baptist churches in Jones Nolan and Taylor counties for a five day B Y P U revival training directed by T C Gardner. Grace Conn leads Jones county with 10 churches par a and a county meeting at Anson reports 585 enrollments and 531 attendees. A closing program with certificates will be held at Anson Sunday at 2 30 pm. Stamford expects large turnout. The Stamford school is led by L E Waite with instructors Jewel Austin Ed Jones C M Lester and Rev W C Moffett. enrollment reaches 104 by Wednesday night with 75 in attendance.

Boy Loses Sight in One Eye After Dynamite Cap Blast
Doyle Gillespie, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Gillespie of Rockdale, lost sight in one eye from a dynamite cap placed on a hot stove. The accident happened Saturday morning at E. Martindale’s home where Doyle played with Martindale’s younger children. Doctors expect the eye to remain blind, with no operation needed.

A full day terrace building demonstration led by County Agent C. C. Jobson will take place today at the J. D. Cloud farm three miles south of Stamford. B C Bennett Hurt When Timber Fell At Acorn Store
B C Bennett 53, contractor of East Elizabeth street, was struck by a 2x4 timber in the Acorn store while repairing a wall. The blow fractured facial bone and cut a temple artery, rendering him unconscious temporarily. He was taken to Stamford Sanitarium, later sent home to rest through Saturday.
