Twenty six attend Cub Scout training at First Christian
Twenty six persons attended the Cub Leaders Training School at the First Christian church. Eleven came from Rule, three from Aveca and eleven from Stamford. M. M. Rutherford T/5 returned to Stamford with a February 7 discharge from Camp Fannin after enlisting March 15, 1944 in Abi lene and training at Camp McQuaid Calif. He served five months overseas in central Germany, son of I. C. and Mrs. Rutherford of Stamford. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Loop moved to Odessa to start a new home. Loop was discharged earlier from the Seabees after returning from the Pacific.

A fat livestock show for 4 H clubs and FFA groups is planned for Saturday March 2 at the Quarter Horse stables on the Texas Cowboy Reunion grounds in Stamford.
