Mrs J H Huffaker of Avoca died Wednesday at 4 am at Stamford Sanitarium after a heart attack. Funeral set for Feb 11 at 3 pm at Avoca Methodist Church with Rev Oscar Bruce. burial in Spring Creek cemetery. Survived by husband five daughters four sons twenty three grandchildren ten great grandchildren a brother and a sister.

Mr and Mrs Stanley Hall joyfully saw an Associated Press image of their son Master Sgt Stanley Hall in a daily paper. The pictures show Hall with a fellow airman on a Jerusalem cliff and with a bomber crew member bidding farewell to a native guide at Solomon stables. Hall joined the Army Air Forces on his eighteenth birthday in 1941 after gunnery school and crew chiefs school in Nevada and flight training at Las Vegas.
