Lueders Church of Christ reports higher Sunday School turnout at its Central Church of Christ. 94 attended Sun day School. Bible school starts at 10 a m each Sunday. Mrs Sally Lee Dies in Wichita Falls Hospital
Mrs Sally Lee of Wichita Falls died of pneumonia in a local hospital on Wednesday. A brief funeral was held in Wichita Falls on Thursday morning and the body was taken to Anson for a 3 PM service that day. Stamford relatives traveled to Anson for the burial.

Former Tuxedo Resident Brought Back for Funeral
Mrs. J. E. Peek a 56 year old former Tuxedo resident died at Meadow near Brownfield after a prolonged illness. The Kinney Funeral Home transported her body to Tuxedo for a Saturday service at 3 30 p.m. Rev. H S Hinson and Rev. W H Penn officiated. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery. She was born October 3 1880 in Mississippi and married February 26 1899. Survivors include her husband four daughters three sons and a sister who aided at Meadow.

John Edwin Massey III, infant son of Mr and Mrs Edwin Massey of Stamford, died at Stamford Sanitarium after a short pneumonia illness. H D Club Plans Four County Fairs and Exhibits
Women of the South Stamford Home Demonstration Club will enter four fairs in Jones county with Hamlin Lueders Anson and Stamford on the schedule. They will also enter the Ball Mason jar exhibit and donate two jars per member of canned goods. County Health Unit Urged in Talk to Rotary
Dr. F. B. Hudson urged the Rotary Club to establish a county health unit in Jones County. The unit would include a full time health officer, one or more nurses, and a Sanitary officer, costing an estimated 10 000 to 11 000 dollars annually with about half funded by state or federal programs. Taxpayers would pay roughly two to three cents per 160 dollars of value. The unit would run tuberculin tests for school children, eradicate typhoid, immunize against diseases, provide maternity aid and inspect dairies and water supplies.
