George Pryor was elected president of the Stamford Merchants' Association at a Thursday meeting at the City Auditorium. Leslie Larche named vice-president and secretary R. C. Thomas will help appoint three trustees to form the executive board. About 50 members attended in support of the association's work. Twenty three and a half blocks of new paving completed in Stamford's program, with several blocks still under contract and recent work on North Swenson Avenue near Moran Street.
