Funeral Rites Held For Mrs J D Wilson At New Hope
Mrs J D Wilson died Friday after a six week illness at the family home four and a half miles southwest of Lagerton. Funeral Sunday at 2 PM at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev H S Hinson officiating. Burial in New Hope cemetery. Survivors include husband four daughters three sons nineteen grandchildren one great grandchild two brothers and a sister.

H. C. Halbert aged 80 died Monday after illness and years of residence in Stamford. Funeral service was held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Stamford Church of Christ, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Kinney and Corley Funeral Home in charge. He was born in Tennessee and worked as a carpenter. His wife Lyda Dickey survives. Their son Floyd Halbert died about 17 years ago.
