Pennington Home Suffered Severe Fire Damage
The home of H. H. Pennington at 609 East Reynolds Street was almost totally destroyed by a fire at 11 o clock Monday night. Neighbors spotted the blaze in the kitchen and authorities fought it to prevent spread. Only a shell of the exterior walls remained as furnishings and interior were ruined. insurance stood at 2400 for the building and 2000 for contents.
