Special March Term Called By Anson Texas District Court
Judge Walter F. Chapman will convene a March special term of the 104th District Court to clear cases postponed by influenza and illness. Several Texas cases from the January term are rescheduled with dates in March including prosecutions of Henson Joiier Calvert Carter Fare Rowell Humphrey and related defendants arising from alleged prohibition violations. A new venire may be drawn if the Will Fritts murder case is placed on the docket.

City Hall Addition Contract To Be Let
City manager C W Zug says a contract for an expansion to City Hall will likely be let Monday. The one story brick addition extends north to the alley and east to the property line, adding space behind the fire department. Two new fire trucks were previously contracted and are due about March 1.
