First Prize Awarded in Cotton Production Contest
Four prizes were awarded to Stamford Vocational Agriculture boys in the cotton program of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. Fourteen boys entered this year, up from six last year, with prizes presented Friday at a committee meeting chaired by Roland Keley.

Sewer Extension Work To Start In North Town

The Texas Highway Department schedules bid openings for February 16 and 17 to widen and resurface Highway 380 in Stamford.
