Stamford boards review 1980 tax roll equalization plan
The Stamford school district board and city council met January 23 to review L. L. Jacobs and Associates Amarillo bid for 1980 tax roll reappraisal. Three bids were received with Jacobs at 9.33 per item, planning fieldwork in fall 1979 for about 4200 items including homes farms and commercial property.

Applications are now being accepted to add about 12 rental apartments by Stamford Housing Development Corp under the Farmers Home Administration program. The current complex on South Anson Street has 14 units with a 95 percent occupancy and strong rental revenue. plans include energy efficient construction with FHA funding, new architecture by Duayne McQueen, and coordination with a Farmers Home Loan Association representative.
