Rates of payment for soil building practices in 1941 announced
The Agricultural Adjustment Administration sets 1941 payment rates for soil building and conservation, with most rates similar to 1940 but adjusted due to funding shifts, larger conservation funds, and higher cotton yields. Rates cover non-depleting land, commercial crops, pastures, and general soil-depleting crops, with per acre and per unit figures and a 10 percent possible adjustment for participation.
