Cancer victim buried Tuesday at Plainview
Chle Henry Wofford aged 49 died Monday at Haskell hospital after a cancer illness. Funeral was held Tuesday at 4 p m at Plainview Baptist Church north of Stamford with burial in Highland cemetery. He was born August 4 1901 in Coleman County and lived in Haskell county and Stamford area. Survived by wife Elsie Nevada Arnold four children grandchildren and several relatives. Pallbearers and out of town mourners listed.

Cancer Victim Dies Tuesday Knight 79 Stonewall County Attorney
Stonewall county attorney T E Knight aged 79 died Tuesday at the Stamford Sanitarium after a cancer illness. He was a trustee of the Aspermont Methodist Church and will be buried in Aspermont cemetery after a Thursday service at 2:30 PM. Knight, a Winnsboro native, UT Law School 1908 graduate, married Lillian Hopkins in 1908 and lived in Aspermont since 1909 except six years in Fort Worth. He is survived by his wife and four brothers.

141 Attend Church of Christ Encampment Annual Event
