A two week vacation Bible school runs at Central Christian Church from Monday to August 14. Mrs Pickard Visits Fort Worth and Dallas Kinney Ambulance Takes Husband
Mrs. Dr. W. Pickard and her children Joan and Dale visited Fort Worth and Dallas last weekend. They visited her husband in the Veterans Administration Hospital at McKinney where he has been for about three weeks for examination and treatment. An ambulance from Kinney transported him and Mrs. Pickard’s Dallas sister and two nephews from Fort Worth accompanied them for a short visit.

The city projects full readiness for water from Lake Stamford between August 15 and 20. The long pipeline has been tested and the new filter plant filled and tested while leaks were expected. New King Sand Discovery Well southwest of Avoca
