ACC Quartet Entertains at Ladies Night Banquet
An Abilene Christian College quartet performed at the Stamford Rotary Club Ladies Night banquet hosted at Stamford Country Club on Thursday April 13. Attendance was about 10 percent. A Spring revival begins Sunday at St John’s Methodist church running April 23 through April 30. Rev Alfie Carleton of First Methodist Big Spring will preach at 10 A.M. and 7 30 P.M. daily with men’s 7 A.M. breakfasts, daily group singing, and youth supper and music at 6 P.M. The Rev Carleton is overseeing a $200 000 educational building project in Big Spring after moving from Lubbock where St John’s grew from 500 to over 1700 members.
