The Carnegie Library in Stamford will observe Library Week from April 17 to 23 with an amnesty on overdue books. Fines will be forgiven if books are returned during the week. Librarian Hollis Payne will display exhibits in city storefront windows and Carl Mueller, a Stamford High School DE student, will work at the library for the rest of the term.
