Prominent Citizen P C W Peterson Dies in Texas County
Mr P C W Peterson aged 71 died at his home in Texas County on Friday November 9 from paralysis after months of declining health. Born in Denmark he came to the U S as a child, lived in Wisconsin briefly, then Kentucky and finally Washington County where he resided. He leaves a wife and five children. A Mennonite Lutheran church member and respected merchant, he was praised for honesty and community service. Funeral services were held at Bethlehem church on Sunday.

Death of Mr Logsdon at Hardin's Chapel
Mr John Logsdon died at his home near Hardin's Chapel on Tuesday November 13 after months of ill health. He was fifty, beloved by acquaintances, and survived by a wife and several grown children. He married a daughter of Marion Sweeney of Mackville. Condolences are extended to the family as interment took place at Bethlehem today at 11 o'clock.
