Exhumation of Murray Walker Body Near Valley Hill

On Monday Mr John Waters assisted Logan and A B Walker to exhume their father Murray Walker from the Goatley farm grave near Valley Hill dating to 1866. The corpse, well preserved, lay in a metall ic coffin with a broken glass lid allowing water in. clothing remained intact. The body was moved to Pleasant Grove cemetery and re interred beside his wife who died recently.
