Queen of Egypt narrative tale and a tragic family history

An extensive reminiscence recounts a mixed narrative of slavery, racial tension, madness, and tragedy. A late afternoon encounter introduces a fair complex woman of uncertain descent who descends into delirium, claims ancient queenship, and experiences a ruinous decline. The speaker documents squalor, fear, mercy, and a storm of memories including love, crime, punishment, and reconciliation as a family confronts profound loss.
