Public Square disturbance ends with three men jailed
A Tuesday afternoon disturbance in Public Square saw Gwons Watson and Gibbony using loud profanity. Police attempted arrest of Owens failed as he resisted with Watson and Gibbons. Mayor Gilmore helped escort Watson to custody while Owens was carried to jail. Gibbons surrendered. all three confined in the calaboose. Marshal Long praised for duties.
