City Schools Plan Open Term and Graded System

City schools will reopen for a four month term with a further extension. The School Board leases Prof. Mathias’s High School building for Mr. Dinsmuts to teach, primary work to be in Phelps Hall. Schools will be thoroughly graded by attainments, with promotion on established standards. Tuition is free for city pupils. outside pupils may be admitted if space permits. Also notes shortage of a suitable school mouse and announces a New Sapping Store opening on St. Louis Street with harness and saddlery. Report of a Mite Picnic at Rev.
