The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Anglican church in Lac du Bonnet with pallbearers named and Rev. S Richardson officiating.

A local wedding at Notre Dame church Lac du Bonnet on September 9 united Noella Leclerc and Raymond David. The bride wore white satin with a heart shaped headdress and was attended by Agnes David as bridesmaid with her sister Agnes as matron of honor. Miss David wore pink while Miss Leclerc wore green. Groom stood with Ken Sellers and Joseph Leclerc. Rev. Father E Paradis officiated with Mrs C LeVasseur on organ. The Pointe du Bois Harvest Festival was held in the Community hall on Tuesday evening September 14. J. R. Devaney led the effort with strong community support and S. S. Square's auctioneering drew lively bids for prizes including a chase for the biggest beers. H. Eby served as cashier. Cubs helped as delivery boys. Whist prizes went to Mrs. E. Preece Mrs. E.
