Two Beausejour Men Die In October Explosion

William Wayne and Reinhold Radons of Beausejour were instantly killed at 2 15 PM Monday when a dynamite charge exploded due to a faulty cap at the Transcona Cordite Plant. Wayne, 35, born in Poland, had five years at the plant and earlier Red Lake Ontario. Radons, born in Russia in 1904, lived in Beausejour since 1906 and had six children. Funeral services for Wayne were held October 31 at St Marys Church. Radons service was November 1 at Zion Lutheran Church. Russell Funeral Home handled arrangements.
