Local notes from Bissett and area residents enjoy summer plans
Bob Thomas returns home and Rufus Prince Jr travels to Carlson Camps at Aitken for the season. Many residents plan summer work or study at Banff, Winnipeg, Red Lake, or Garner Lake, while others join unions, attend church events, or host family gatherings. Community sports and youth teams flourish as Rev Marsh sandals and Lions Cubs play, and local social nights celebrate Mothers Day and birthday milestones.
