Beausejour Teens prepare for a baseball season. a bridals shower, st Mary tea, and Women's Institute plans feature. a chimney fire and funeral services are reported among frequent community scenes.
Mr and Mrs Harold Keena announce the birth of a son Gary at Misericordia hospital on April 22. The notice also lists visits from Minneapolis residents, travel to Brandon for Charlie Foster, hospital recoveries for Mrs L Sabat and Mrs John Mastaller, and a brooder house fire at Anton Winkler’s with chicks lost. Casmir Surowich suffers a near fatal accident on April 28 when a tractor runs over his left leg. he is operated on at St Boniface hospital and shows signs of recovery.
Miss Helen Werhennik joined Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Krawchuk in Dencross for Easter. Eleanor Evertoski Eddie Evertoski and a friend stayed with the Evertoskis in Ladywood. Families in Fisher Branch and Brokenhead hosted Easter celebrations with 20 to 28 guests, plus a Wanda Mroz birthday surprise.
The Real Property Act notice to Edward Urban of Lac du Bonnet and A Urban wife concerns land in Manitoba described as the Southwest quarter of section one in the sixteenth township and eleventh range East of the Principal Meridian. It warns that within three months of service, the applicant Mechanic may receive a certificate of title and pursue ownership after a tax sale by the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet. The deputy district registrar notes redeeming parties may obtain steps at the Land Titles Office in Winnipeg.
