The Pine Falls Trades and Labor Council celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary on March 17 at Manitou Lodge Pine Falls with forty delegates and ex officers present. Fearful Tyndall trio perished in cabin fire
RCMP combed ashes of a log home near Tyndall on Friday March 16 finding a man’s body and expecting two more as investigators sought the remains of three elderly recluses William Williams 78 Owen 73 and Elizabeth 71 who lived three miles from Tyndall and 31 miles from Winnipeg. They had lived hermitlike since parents’ deaths over 30 years ago on a 400 acre Welsh-founded farm. The fire at the cabin Thursday night left one body too burned to identify and neighbors recalled weeks of isolation and a 12 year old robbery where $60 was taken.
