Pine Falls News Highlights From February Activities
Pine Falls Bowling League members traveled to Winnipeg for the Manitoba Telephone System tournament at Polo Park where Martin Cyr won high singles. Prizes went to Mrs Yoland Dimock and Mrs Rita Morissette for helping Winnipeg win. A Viscount Gort supper and dance followed. A 25th wedding anniversary for Robert and Clara Lavallee drew about sixty five guests who received a crystal plate and purse. The Powerview teens formed the Cosmic Eye club at the local recreation centre. Various residents visited relatives in Winnipeg and Brandon. A Nova Scotia visitor joined Ed Tret hart's family in Powerview. The Rebekah Assembly meeting in Winnipeg prompted activities. A new Avon event and several local visits rounded out the note.
