Mr and Mrs H Schaffrott of Beausejour credit their dog for stopping a Big Bad Wolf at their chicken house Friday morning after the dog warned and faced the intruder in a five to ten minute duel. The family has suffered chicken losses this year and rewarded the dog with a T bone.

Despite chilly weather, crowds filled the grandstand for a program patterned after Oklahoma with Miss Reta Coulombe crowned queen and gifts presented by the Winter Club and Imperial Oil Co.

Red Cross Sets Five Million Target for 1947 Appeal
