Jack Rosentretar to Attend United Nations Youth Event
Jack Rosentretar son of Mr and Mrs Wm Rosentretar Pine Falls will participate as observer in the 71st Annual Odd Fellows Caled Meteortl for Youth in New York City. He attends Pine Falls College with two Manitoba counselors in charge and will tour Montreal and cities in the Empire State Building Rockefeller Center area. Since 1950 the project has involved over 15000 students.

Pinawa Junior students win science fair prizes
Two months of sustained effort by Grade 9 pupils at Pinawa Junior culminated in an excellent science exhibition on the evening of the 23rd. First prize went to Bruce Stewart and Gerry Kuehne for a project titled Ss. Creep. The event was affiliated with AAECL. Prizes of $5.00 and $2.00 were awarded.

Village Secretary Jack Wade Retires After Seventeen Years
Jack Wade, secretary for the Village of Lac du Bonnet, retires on June 30 after seventeen years in the post.
