A new St. Pauls Lutheran church in Green Bay Manitoba was dedicated on June 27 with Rev. H Moertelmeyer Meyer as pastor. Born in the Ukraine he came to Pine Falls as a tailor during construction days and later lived in Surviving wife Paulina two daughters Helen and Elsie a son John of Detroit Michigan. Panco Olearnyk of Beaconia Manitoba died in Victoria hospital aged 71 after coming to Canada from Austria 49 years ago. He is survived by his widow Alice and two sons in California. Funeral services were held at 9 30 am in the Greek Catholic church at Thalberg with Russell's Beausejour in charge.

A tiny all aluminum runabout under 200 pounds with top speed 40 mph is the prototype of Britain’s first Minicar to be factory produced. Standing under three feet tall and eight feet long it claims over 100 miles per gallon with low running costs. It will include a hood dashboard instruments and ample leg room and luggage space with an estimated price near $600.
