The Tyndall Scholars delivered a top Christmas program praised by an eager crowd. Obituary: Ted Knopf of River Hills Passes After Illness
Ted Knopf a River Hills resident died at home on Friday December 23 after a lengthy illness. Survived by widow and three children Lorraine Edward and Harvey all of River Hills his mother three brothers Otto Portland Oregon Julius and Herb River Hills two sisters Ida Grabke River Hills Olga Kuhn Vancouver BC. Funeral services were held December 27 at 2 p.m. Whitemouth Baptist Church Rev F Ohlman officiating. Russel's funeral home handled arrangements. Pallbearers were Richard Irvin Grabke George Art Nelson and Lonnie Knopf nephews of the deceased.

Wedding in Elmwood Joins Bertha Johnson to Edward Pischke
A White Mouth district wedding occurred Saturday December 17 at Grey United church Elmwood. Bertha Selma Johnson daughter of the late John and Mrs Johnson Winnipeg married Edward Henry Pischke son of Rudolph and Mrs Pischke Whitemouth Manitoba. The ceremony was conducted by Rev Wesley Bray with organist Dorothy Gray and soloist Dorothy Desjarlais. The bride wore nylon over taffeta with lace veil and carried a white bouquet. After a reception at St Charles hotel the couple planned a brief honeymoon in Minneapolis and will reside in Winnipeg.
