Canadian Parliament to Increase Members Indemnities
The Canadian House of Commons voted to raise annual indemnities by 2900.60 dollars for incidental expenses. Ministers and the Leader of the Opposition will have tax treatment different from ordinary members. Debates on December 13 showed sharp non partisan disagreement.
