Pioneer Mrs. Elizabeth MacDonald 95 dies in Beausejour
Elizabeth MacDonald a district pioneer aged 95 died at her daughter Mrs Edward Keilback's home in Beausejour on December 3. She came west in 1897 and helped settle the Campbell area before retiring to Beausejour. Funeral services were held December 6 at St Marys Church Beausejour with Rev P Jaworski officiating. Surviving are daughters Katherine Keilback and Mary Buchanan. sons Angus Mike and William. nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Edward Joseph Clifford Clarence Gordon and Charles Keilback. Honorary pallbearers included Alfred Pitt Joseph Keilback Frank Keilback and Joseph Steffes.

Funeral services for James Zybarski aged 70 of Ladywood were conducted November 27 at the Greek Catholic Church in Ladywood with Rev. J Carmylo of Beausejour officiating. Santa Visits Pine Falls Parade Brightens Town
Santa Claus made a pre holiday stop in Pine Falls on Saturday November 27 meeting about 300 residents. Lt Nick and Chief Fred Mastin led a motorcade of a dozen cars with four clowns entertaining crowds from Leonard school through town by the Rock. Santa handed out candy bags after a North Pole telegram announcement and the Hudson's Bay Company sponsored the event to ensure a grand daytime appearance.
