Lloyd Stinson Guest Speaker at Beausejour CCF Meeting
The Beausejour CCF club met at Mr and Mrs W Kangas home with Lloyd Stinson CCF leader as guest speaker. Out of town guests Ernie Draffyn and Frank DeGraff attended. Ed Smee chaired. Provisional committee elected Gust August Rattai president and Mrs W Kangas secretary. Districts Beausejour Lydiatt Green Bay represented. Stinson traced CCF history since 1933 and praised Woodsworth Coldwell. Proposals to Ottawa urged moratorium on farmers debts and creation of live stock pools, farm machinery price inquiry, and provincial enabling legislation. Meeting adjourned with thanks to hosts.

Lac du Bonnet Falls to Pine Falls in Close Bout
Lac du Bonnet lost 44 to 17 to Pine Falls last Friday. Pine Falls opened with two quick baskets and led 11 to 4 after the first quarter. Sharon Woods and Beatrice Dimock scored most for Pine Falls while Carol Miklechuk Shirley Richmond and Mae Viisainen led Lac du Bonnet. The Bonnettes look forward to a return game.
