He hails from a family of lawyers including J T Taylor and George B Skinner and trained at Princeton High School Northwestern Law School in Chicago. He practiced law since 1912 and has served as States Attorney since 1913 with a record of integrity and ability appealing to county voters.

Mrs Glenn Mudge returned from Moose Lake Minnesota after a month away. Mrs John Blum shopped in LaSalle Monday. Gandolphi visited her daughter in Ladd the past two weeks and has returned.
