One of the largest and most enthusiastic meetings and banquets held by the Commercial Club occurred at Guild Hall. A 157-seat dinner, superbly served by Episcopal Church women, featured a Victrola concert and a program with Miss Dingfelder, Miss Ewing, and Mr. Hudon receiving encores. Toasts by J. H. McCord, W. A. Posey, Wilson Cornwall, J. L. Frank, Randall Tuttle, and Rev. J. O. Thrush highlighted agriculture, dairy, youth, and citizenship themes. Paralysis Strikes Local Woman During Supper Event

Ed Campbell married to Mabel Runkle, later went to Spirit Lake for telephone company work about six weeks ago. Last Sunday Jin wed Miss Schoeneman of Spirit Lake. Mayor Hender alerted Spirit Lake officials and within twenty minutes the bigamist was jailed. Ila waived preliminary hearing and was bound over to the grand jury to meet in January.
