Many changes moving time here in Spencer town notes
QL, Hr. Rasmussen will move into the Bade house, L. L. Atwood’s former place. L. Jones bought the Wade property on Hast Second street and will take possession April first. Tack Brown is settled in town and looking after business, after a trip to Everly. Walter Barber bought the Robb home on West Second and will move in this week. Wm. Divine bought the Hastings home on West Fifth opposite the court house. Donaghue Brothers sold the Cozy Cafe to G. E. Yeager of Witherville, who took charge Saturday. Dr. D. W. Bettice became owner of the Livingston house on West Fifth, moving in soon. Mrs. Fred James of Clear Lake is visiting relatives and plans to relocate near Ruthven in Palo Alto county. L. P. Tompson and family moved into their Spencer home last Friday. O. C. Caverly may move to LeMars or Sioux City. John Carter and son to Hannibal, Wis., shipping goods from Langdon. families depart with many friends’ good wishes. The Morneau family arrived from Virginia, Minn., and settled over Rogers millinery. Mr. Morneau will supervise Prudential offices in Emmetsburg and Estherville. Harry Walters moved to Clarion, where he bought a restaurant and will be backed by Great Western railway support. Spencer friends regret losing them.

W B Seeley, formerly a state senator, has purchased from W W Blacker a 254 acre farm west of New London near Mount Vieasant Iowa. The price, as understood, is $200 per acre. The deal was completed with ownership transferring to Seeley.

Obituary for Frederick Muclzei of Spencer Wisconsin
Frederick Muclzei, born in Pommern Germany in 1535, died near Spencer Wisconsin after a long illness. He and his wife Amelia Sidehtenberg immigrated to America with six children, three of whom survived. The family settled near Watertown then Clay county before retiring to Spencer. He was a devout German Lutheran, respected neighbor and father of seven, with three surviving siblings. Funeral services were held at home and Riverside Cemetery, with all children and brothers in attendance. Card of thanks from Amelia Muclzei and his family expresses gratitude for support.
