Mrs Arthur Hubbard dies of pneumonia at her daughter’s home in Chariton Iowa on December L1th. Funeral services were held at the S Gillespie residence with Dr Howland Dansen. pastor of the Baptist church, presiding. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery attended by relatives including L and J W Martin of Thawlan and Mrs G J Curtis and husband of Chariton.
George Heald made a short business trip to Bpirk Lake yesterday for routine work. He reported no incidents and returned the same day.
Mrs Hirleman in hospital Arleanan retired from Wes Moines Jash Wriday underwent a surgical operation. Mr Lypaniarn Jur t her with bright prospects for rapid restoration to health. The Berry Brothers have bought the Post Card and Penny Store business and took possession Monday. Mr and Mrs Merritt will remain here for the present.
