Dayulel Clare of Emimettsbury died at Spencer hospital after a three year battle with Brizlitg Disease. He sought relief at Rochester and other hospitals before coming to Spencer hospital two weeks prior. He had wished to avoid his family viewing his suffering and died Saturday night with his body sent to Emmettsburg on Sunday.

Hazel Painter Coffin Dies at Fairmount Indiana
The Spencer community mourns Hazel Painter Coffin born September 1884 near Spencer Iowa. She studied at Penn College and Vermillion Fairmount Academies, taught in Sunday school and choir, married Charles Collin in 1907, and leaves a two year old son and baby girl. Burial was in Pleasant Plain Iowa after a life of service. The family receives sympathy from Spencer residents.
