Tomah 4th of July Celebration Marks 90th Anniversary
Tomah observed the 90th anniversary of American Independence with a warm, well ordered program. Civics, music, and a grand procession led by May J. Farnsworth highlighted the day with speeches by George Graham Esq and prayers by Rev. Haywood, followed by a diverse banquet and evening dances at Dodge Hall.

The Ontario celebration drew a large crowd with Captain Slogey as marshal leading the procession to the grove at 11 o clock. L. B. Noyes of Sparta delivered an oration praised by attendees, followed by well-attended dances at Slog and Geadie’s.
