Sheridan gift to Miss Wright sparks Civil War memory

A handsome gift from General Sheridan to Miss Rebecca Wright of Winchester Virginia includes an old watch a fine gold chain a gunmetal gauntlet brooch set with pearls and a costly diamond sword chain plus an autograph acknowledgment of Miss Wright’s services.
