Succession Sale in Iberville Parish Louisiana 1849

Public sale to settle the succession of Hosémon Lambremont includes a sugar plantation on Live Oak Point with five arpent frontage and about 200 arpent area, an irregular tract of about 53 arpent, numerous enslaved people listed by name and age, moveable property, and terms detailing payments across 1849 1852 plus mortgage on land and slaves. Sheriff J L Petit oversees sale on June 30 1849 with notes endorsed to the parish recorder.
