Strait to retire after final Cowboy Rides Away tour
Country star George Strait announced at the Country Music Hall of Fame that he will embark on a final tour, The Cowboy Rides Away, with 21 dates in 2013 and 20 in 2014. He plans to keep recording and occasional live appearances but retire from full road touring after that. Strait, 60, called touring hectic but said he still loves performing on stage.
