Crab Orchard budget tops $1 million in school vote
Crab Orchard Community Unit School District board approves a $1,057,915 budget for 1995. Education fund is $799,300. Other funds cover operations, bond interest, transportation, and municipal retirement. New hires include high school assistant basketball coach and night custodian. Purchases approved include uniforms, a duplicator, color video equipment, stage curtains, and a PTO committee for curtains. An in-service day, parent-teacher conferences, and financial reports were also approved along with polling place use and an IDOT information meeting on rural roads.
