Bald Knob board urged to file police report over loan case

Union County State's Attorney Allen James said an internal trial based on hearsay isn't enough and a private board must report alleged crimes to police before any investigation. He noted a private corporation cannot be investigated without a police report, and internal proceedings could taint evidence. The board had planned an internal review regarding Tirzah Tweedy's $75,000 loan in 2001 for the cross' welcome center.
