Center for Wound Healing Opens at St. Joseph Memorial
St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Murphysboro unveiled a new Center for Wound Healing with an open house and future satellite site at Herrin Hospital. Girlfriend of murder suspect charged with obstructing justice
Candice Brown, 30, charged with obstructing justice in the double homicide case of Jessica Evans, 17, and Jacob Wheeler, 22. Brown, girlfriend ofDanny Coston, allegedly gave false information claiming Coston was with her in the early hours of Aug. 26. Evans and Wheeler disappeared Aug. 26 after fishing on the Little Wabash River. their bodies were found days later. Coston was arrested Aug. 31 and faces murder charges. Brown posted $2,000 bond and has a first appearance Oct. 11 in White County Circuit Court.
